We had a blast exploring the area on our bikes - so many sick trails and beautiful scenery. The cottage itself was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend for young adventurers like us!
The only thing we wished for was a cool hangout spot near the cottage, like a chill outdoor seating area or a fire pit. It would have made our evenings even more epic.

Our stay at Auld Cottage was absolutely delightful! The cottage itself was beautifully restored, cozy, and impeccably clean. We loved the charming character and the log burner made the evenings so cozy. The location was perfect, with a village shop and pub just a short walk away. The underfloor heating downstairs was a nice touch and kept us warm. The picturesque surroundings added to the overall charm of the cottage.
The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but that's just a personal preference. We also wished there was a gated area between the rear part of the cottage and the driveway, as we had young children with us and were concerned about the road.

One minor issue we had was the comfort of the mattress in the main bedroom. It wasn't as comfortable as the one in the second room, but it didn't detract too much from our overall experience.
