The location of this cottage is absolutely stunning, surrounded by picturesque scenery. We were blown away! The cottage itself is so charming and cozy, making our stay super comfortable. It had everything we needed and more, with lovely touches like a child's chair and retro modern technology. The nearby village shop and pub were a short walk away, and the locals were all friendly and welcoming. The information provided about the local area was interesting to read, and we loved exploring the nearby places of interest. The log burner was a jaw-dropping addition, keeping us warm and adding to the cottage's character. Underfloor heating downstairs was a bonus too. The suggestions in the welcome pack led us to some mind-blowing days out that our kids absolutely loved. this was a truly amazing experience! We highly recommend it.

We had a blast exploring the area on our bikes - so many sick trails and beautiful scenery. The cottage itself was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend for young adventurers like us!

The only thing we wished for was a cool hangout spot near the cottage, like a chill outdoor seating area or a fire pit. It would have made our evenings even more epic.

The countryside views were breathtaking and it was a great way to spend quality family time together. The kids especially loved riding their bikes and discovering new places every day. Highly recommend this location for a fun-filled family cycling adventure!

My wife says that it would be great to have a secure area for the kids to play outside.

The location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself was cozy and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The underfloor heating and log burner were a nice touch, keeping us warm during our visit. The local pub and village shop were just a stone's throw away, making it convenient for us to grab a drink or some essentials. a fantastic experience!

The only downside was that the mattress in the main bedroom wasn't as comfortable as the second room.

The location was fantastic, with a village shop and pub just 100 yards away, and the locals were friendly and welcoming. The staff at the cottage were attentive and provided us with great suggestions for things to do in the area.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Our stay at Auld Cottage was absolutely delightful! The cottage itself was beautifully restored, cozy, and impeccably clean. We loved the charming character and the log burner made the evenings so cozy. The location was perfect, with a village shop and pub just a short walk away. The locals were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine. The underfloor heating downstairs was a nice touch and kept us warm. The welcome pack provided valuable suggestions for places to visit, and we had a fantastic time exploring the recommended attractions. The picturesque surroundings added to the overall charm of the cottage.

The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but that's just a personal preference. We also wished there was a gated area between the rear part of the cottage and the driveway, as we had young children with us and were concerned about the road.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, with a village shop and pub just a stone's throw away. The locals were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the area. the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had so much character. We especially loved the cozy log burner, which made our Christmas stay extra special. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine, and the underfloor heating downstairs was a great touch. There were also plenty of suggestions for local attractions in the welcome pack, which our children thoroughly enjoyed.

One minor issue we had was the comfort of the mattress in the main bedroom. It wasn't as comfortable as the one in the second room, but it didn't detract too much from our overall experience.
